Your role:
As a Team Leader Product Management Discrete Automation (PLC, HMI, IPC, Distributed I/O), you will join our Digital Industry team in Milan, leading the product management activities and contributing to the success of our SIMATIC portfolio.
Your mission will be to drive product strategy, innovation, and lifecycle management while coordinating a team of product managers and collaborating closely with Sales, HQ, and key stakeholders to strengthen Siemens' positioning in the manufacturing sector.
You'll make an impact by:
* Driving the Italian product strategy and defining a long-term roadmap aligned with HQ directives
* Managing the performance of the assigned product and solutions portfolio through KPIs and business monitoring
* Collaborating with Sales, HQ, and stakeholders to support business growth and customer success
* Leading and developing a team of product managers (PLC, HMI, IPC, SCADA), fostering continuous improvement
* Monitoring market trends, competitors, and technological evolution to ensure competitive positioning
* Promoting portfolio innovations through events and go-to-market initiatives
* Building business cases, supporting strategic decisions, and managing key partnerships and negotiations
* Representing Siemens towards strategic customers, analysts, and external stakeholders

Core Requirements
* Proven experience in PLC, HMI, IPC or SCADA technologies or in Product Management
* Solid leadership experience with strong people management capabilities
* Degree in Automation, Electronics, IT/Software Engineering or equivalent technical background
* Strong analytical, strategic, and business acumen
* Fluent Italian and English communication skills
* Passion to never-stop growing
* Respect and appreciation of each person's uniqueness, willingness to co-create and share knowledge
* Proficiency in English and Italian
* Eligibility to work in Italy

* Experience in managing product lifecycle and defining portfolio strategies
* Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
* Availability for frequent national and occasional international business travel
* High level of motivation and ability to lead and inspire teams, including virtual ones

The Total Target Cash (Base + Variable) Pay Range for this position is EUR76.000-EUR95.000 annually. The actual offer will be determined within this range, based on the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
