Beach Club Staff

About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Beach Club Staff to ensure an exceptional experience for our students. The role involves supporting activities and events, maintaining a clean and fully functional Beach Club (located in St. George's Bay, St. Julians), assisting with bookings and deliveries, and being a friendly, welcoming presence. The ideal candidate is proactive, team-oriented, and enjoys working in a lively, outdoor environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Welcome and assist students, providing a high level of support and service, and be the friendly face for our students.
* Be in charge of opening and closing the Beach Club, ensuring everything is set up and secured properly. Ensure the Beach Club area is clean and tidy, coordinating with hotel staff as needed, and check that all equipment and facilities are in place and functional.
* Support the organization of Beach Club activities and events, helping set up for special occasions or weekly events.
* Assist with booking and coordinating water sports or other services.
* Receive deliveries, double-check them, and store items appropriately.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Report any issues or problems on a daily basis to your line manager, the Beach Club Manager.
Qualifications:
* Must have legal right to work Malta.
* Have a high level of English.
* Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or working with young adults is preferred.
* Positive attitude, team-oriented, proactive, and strong customer-service mindset.
* Strong communication skills.
* Interest in outdoor, sporty, or social activities is a plus.
Availability:
Candidates should be available to work part-time with flexible shifts, providing at least 20 hours of availability per week, with a start date in February.
During the off-peak season, shifts will cover the full period from 12 PM to 6 PM. During the peak season (summer), shifts will be scheduled within the hours of 9 AM to 8 PM, with exact times assigned based on availability. Availability must include weekends and holidays.
