About the role

As GBS RTR Manufacturing Analyst, you will support accurate and timely accounting for manufacturing operations within the Record-to-Report (RTR) process. You will manage cost centre postings, validate production variances, reconcile inventory accounts, and ensure compliance with global policies and standards.

Your day-to-day includes analysing manufacturing costs, preparing journal entries for production and inventory movements, and maintaining audit-ready documentation. You will work closely with Supply Chain and Finance teams to ensure accurate cost reporting and contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Summary of responsibilities:

* Perform accounting for manufacturing operations, including cost centre postings and production variances
* Management and control of fixed assets, including capex expenditure

* Prepare and post journals for inventory movements and production costs

* Reconcile inventory and manufacturing-related accounts, investigating variances

* Maintain audit-ready documentation for manufacturing accounting activities

* Collaborate with Supply Chain and Finance teams to ensure accurate cost reporting

* Support standardisation and automation initiatives to improve efficiency

* Ensure adherence to internal controls and global accounting standards

Your experience & Skills:

* Portuguese advanced or business conversational
* 1-4 years of experience in manufacturing accounting, cost accounting, or RTR processes (shared services/global exposure preferred)

* Working knowledge of inventory accounting, production variances, and cost centre reporting

* Familiarity with intercompany eliminations and group reporting requirements

* Proficiency with ERP and consolidation tools (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, BPC, HFM, or similar) and strong Excel skills (lookups, pivots)

* Understanding of internal controls, audit readiness, and documentation standards

* Analytical problem-solving with high attention to detail and dependable time management across recurring deadlines

* Clear written and verbal communication for workpaper narratives and reporting support
