Your mission, roles and responsibilities
Perform physical tests on the materials and components received according to the Customer's specifications, keeping informed of any detected failure to prevent non-conforming material from entering the production areas, as well as the calibration and verification of the plant's measuring equipment, and validation of finished product.
Daily:
* Monitor equipment calibration status
* Prepare reports and notifications of detected failures and immediately notify Receiving and Production.
* Conduct LPA/Kamishibai audits
* Update laboratory indicators.
Frequent:
* Perform MSA studies on measuring equipment.
* Calibrate internal measuring equipment.
* Microscope measurements.
* Color validations with a spectrophotometer.
* Prepare the necessary documentation according to existing QMS procedures, H-point measurement
Occasional:
* HUETEST studies on personnel.
* Conduct occasional flammability tests.
* Perform button tests according to customer requirements.
* Perform peel and adhesion tests.
* Issue PPAP laboratory test reports.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and/or related fields
LanguagesEnglish (50% desired): read, and written.
Experience: 0 to 2 years
Technicals: Interpretation of norms, Maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment, MSA, Quality Systen, GD & T, Legal requirements in health, safety and environment, Core Tools, Interpretation of calibration certificates.
Soft Skills: Driver for results, Collaborates with others, Learning agility, Political Safety, Instils trusts, Optimizes Work Process
