Your role:

Our Instruments division is the world leader in development and deployment of modern solutions with high technological value to our customers Opticians and Optometrists, in the cutting/mounting of correction lenses and in refraction and diagnosis of eye diseases.

Our mission is to provide vision professionals with equipment and services that are perfect responses to their business needs and help them build a strong and trusting relationship with their patients.

As part of our Instruments team in Norway, you will be field-based and will spend approximately 80-90% of your time visiting our ophthalmologist and hospital customers.

You may occasionally need to attend conferences, events, trade fairs and exhibitions. Depending on the size of area you cover, your job may involve overnight stays away from home.

Main responsibilities:

* Install, service, and support diagnostic equipment at customer sites, ensuring smooth setup and reliable performance.

* Represent the company at trade shows and events, presenting instruments and supporting marketing activities.

* Build strong, long-term customer relationships, acting as a trusted partner and point of contact.

* Contribute to marketing efforts by supporting product promotion and customer engagement initiatives.

* Follow all Health & Safety guidelines, including PPE requirements, and ensure the safety of visitors, contractors, and external partners.

Main requirements:

* Technical education and experience working as a service technician.

* Hands-on knowledge of diagnostic equipment and confidence using a range of instruments.

* Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and verbal.

* Computer and network proficiency, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software quickly.

* Adaptable, quick to learn, and comfortable working closely with colleagues and customers.

* Organised and self-managing, able to plan and prioritise workload independently.

* Full, clean driving licence.

* Optometry qualification (BSc or Diploma) is an advantage but not required.
