Overview

The Account Support Manager is responsible for supporting the account managers on customer queries, promotional planning and promo-coordination with the customers, providing internal- and external information and align promotions and activations with the customers.
You work in a complex environment where commercial talent is an important success factor.
Next to this, the ASM is also responsible for sales of obsoletes to brokers including independent negotiations and guiding the launch of new products internally.
In this role you work with multiple internal and external stakeholders where commercial talent is an important success factor.
It is our aim to have you successfully progress in our commercial organization within 2-3 years.
Responsibilities

* Plan promotions together with your counterpart at the Customer and agree overall planning within the broader customer environment with the other Customer teams
* Accurate translation of the Customer promotional program into the organization and align with stakeholders
* Translate analysis of our promo program delivering insights how to further improve the promo efficiency at our customers and discuss with our customers
* Support in smooth relaunches and new product introductions at the customers
* Providing information like revenue overviews, product- and price information, delivery performance towards customers and discuss how to improve/progress
* Work with x-functional team identifying obsoletes sales opportunities and negotiate with brokers (including pricing and terms).
* Internal & external communication regarding your specific customer
* Looking for opportunities and taking initiatives to develop growth at specific customer
* Define promo strategy together with account management, strategy and commercial finance and translate intro win-win growth plans for the customer

Qualifications

* Academic level business administration / business economics
* 1/2-2 Years experience in a commercial environment
* Commercial capabilities (time management, communication)
* Analytical skills (promo analysis and insights generation)
* Independent, result oriented, initiative, analytical and ambitious
* Fluent in Dutch and English spoken and in written
