About the role: What's in the Box
As a Hardware Tech Engineer (internally we call this position "Technical Support Engineer") in our Distribution Center in Bleiswijk, you will play a key role in keeping our production technology and hardware running smoothly. You'll be part of the Facility & Technical Maintenance team, acting as the hardware expert behind the systems that power our operations. From Warehouse Management Systems to Pick-to-Light and throughput measurement tools, you ensure that the technology supporting thousands of weekly deliveries performs reliably and securely.
Your work directly impacts our operational teams and, ultimately, our customers. Because when our systems run seamlessly, our production does too.
What you'll do: The Recipe
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware-related production issues quickly to minimize operational downtime.
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production tech systems to ensure stability and performance.
* Collaborate closely with IT teams and international HelloFresh colleagues to implement upgrades, improvements, and secure system updates.
* Coordinate with external vendors and third-party suppliers to support issue resolution and hardware maintenance.
* Manage and maintain inventory of production devices, including hardware, peripherals, and licenses, ensuring accurate tracking and timely replacement.
* Support improvement projects by assessing hardware impact, defining technical requirements, and ensuring successful implementation within the DC environment.
What you'll bring: The Ingredients
* Solid knowledge of Windows and Android operating systems, as well as Zebra (Software Suite).
* Experience supporting hardware in operational environments such as warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is a plus.
* Basic understanding of networking hardware and support principles.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with operational teams, IT, and external partners.
* Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced production environment.
* A growth mindset and curiosity to continuously learn and improve technical systems.
