Main responsabilities ...
As Maintenance Technician you will be taking care of ad-hoc tasks and providing ongoing maintenance support to the building.
* Making sure that all areas and facilities of the house are up to the highest maintenance status
* Performing painting and repairing of walls, furniture, cabinets, windows, locks and keys
* Performing electrical and mechanical repairs
* Performing repairs on fans and air conditioning
* Performing routine plumbing repairs
* Performing carpentry work
* Documenting work accomplished and closely liaising with the Maintenance Manager on projects
* Being aware and observing safety precautions and fire safety procedures and emergency action plans
We are looking for someone who has
* Previous experience in maintenance (is a big plus) preferably in hotels
* Background as a carpenter and electrician is preferred
* Should have experience in volume and high pressure operations
* You are flexible to work on weekends and evenings
* Ability to consistently maintain positive vendor and employee relationships
* Strong verbal communication in English
