Marek Novotný is a Partner within the Advisory services of PwC. Working extensively in the US and European geographies, he is recognized as a strong executive within the technology areas. He is focused on quality while providing a reliable and trustworthy services in areas of custom software development covering digital products and services development, cloud transformations and data related services (analytics, engineering and science). In the past Marek has held also an array of positions within areas of Technology Consulting, Forensics Technology Services and Data Analytics.

Job description & summary

A full-stack technical contributor working across our front end and back end, supporting delivery of new features and application modernization efforts for an existing application suite. The team's primary focus lies in developing software applications for the financial and industry sectors. These applications empower both internal and external clients by automating their processes. Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with our development team and QA team to Develop and maintain features across the full stack - front end and back end
* Contribute to infrastructure management and VM-based deployment environments
* Participate in QA processes and support overall software delivery
* Assist in .NET library/framework upgrades and application modernization initiatives
* Support live incidents during critical periods, including triage and resolution

Requirements of the role

* Front End: React.js (component architecture, state management, modern patterns)
* Back End: .NET (C#, REST API development, service-layer design, SQL Server)
* Infrastructure: Cloud infrastructure (Azure), IaaS and VM-based deployment and management
* DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, build automation
* 4-6 years of professional software development experience
* Solid hands-on experience with React and .NET across the full development lifecycle
* Exposure to cloud infrastructure and IaaS environments
* Experience with DevOps practices - CI/CD, release pipelines, and deployment
* Familiarity with application modernization - library upgrades, re-platforming, or migration work
* Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Familiarity with microservices architecture
