Purpose:
To secure a dedicated Business Analyst (BA) resource dedicate to working directly for the client (AstraZeneca), to be provided by JLL to support the effective management and delivery of Digital Services demand within Site Operations. Note, the JLL account are mostly site based with the client, this role is designed for the candidate to be working directly with the client.
Location:
Cambridge or London (although the client would consider someone based in Warsaw, Poland or Gothenburg, Sweden.
Background:
As part of AZ's evolving Digital Operations model, demand for digital solutions continues to increase across Site Operations and the wider COO organisation including Gothenburg and Warsaw locations. While customer are now asked to submit high level requirements via the demand tracker, there remains a significant gap in refining, validating, and shaping these demands into actionable, well-defined projects.
Proposal:
Introduce a dedicated Business Facing Business Analyst to:
* Work alongside the Digital Operations Manager and Digital Services Business Partners to engage directly with customers post demand submission.
* Lead discovery discussions to clarify requirements, identify dependencies, and propose feasible solutions.
* Document functional and non functional requirements, ensuring alignment with Site Ops digital architecture and standards.
* Support delivery oversight for complex or cross functional digital projects.
* This dedicated role will ensure that demands are understood, prioritised, and progressed efficiently - reducing backlog, improving quality of requirements and accelerating delivery timeless.
Rational & Outcomes:
* Accelerated Demand Throughput: improved conversation of rea demand into actionable, prioritised user requirements.
* Improved Quality: Clear, consistent requirements definition reduces rework and delivery risk.
* Reduced Cost & Dependency on IT: Avoids reliance on high cost IT BA's unfamiliar with Site Ops context
* Customer Experience: Strengthens engagement and transparency with end users through proactive BA involvement.
* Scalability: Support the transition towards a data enabled, 'Agentic BA' model lvereaging system insights and standardised processes.
