Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill is located in the prestigious Marylebone area of London's West End, overlooking the gardens of Portman Square and just moments from Oxford Street and Hyde Park. The hotel features 440 elegant guestrooms including 50 suites, along with 11 versatile meeting and event spaces hosting a wide range of corporate events and social occasions. Duties and responsibilities related to the Door Host role
* Provide a warm, professional welcome to all guests on arrival, ensuring their first impression of the hotel is exceptional.
* Assist with guest arrivals and departures by coordinating luggage handling, transportation needs and smooth access to the lobby.
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe entrance area by managing vehicle flow, keeping pathways clear and monitoring overall presentation.
* Support guests with local information, hotel outlet knowledge and general enquiries to enhance their stay experience.
* Arrange taxis and transportation promptly, ensuring guest journeys are efficient and stress-free.
* Safeguard guest car keys and personal belongings when required, following hotel procedures for security and accuracy.
* Monitor outdoor and entrance areas for cleanliness, reporting any issues and ensuring a welcoming environment at all times.
* Collaborate with Front Office and Guest Services teams to ensure seamless communication and consistent guest service throughout the arrival and departure process.
About you
We are seeking a warm, confident and service-focused individual to join our team as a Door Host. Previous experience in a similar front-of-house or guest-facing role is highly advantageous, particularly within a hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong situational awareness and a genuine passion for creating memorable first impressions. A full, clean driving licence is essential, along with the ability to manage guest arrivals, departures and transportation needs with professionalism and care.
