Simulation Software Developer / AI Engineer (Parental Leave)

As a Simulation Software Developer and AI Engineer, you will be part of the Dymola team that enables multi-domain modeling with an intuitive interface (www.dymola.com).

This is a 14-month fixed-term employment opportunity, with the potential for early transition to permanent employment based on the company's needs.

Role Description & Responsibilities

* Implementation and maintenance of Dymola, numerical solver technology especially for simulation of Modelica (www.modelica.org) and FMI (www.fmi-standard.org) models
* Work on interfaces to LLMs (Large Language Models) for enhanced Dymola AI capabilities
* Work on enhancements related to initialization and performance for large-scale systems
* Improve existing solutions related to diagnostics and debugging
* Customer support on solver-related topics,

* To understand and exchange with customer eco-system
* Expand knowledge and improve solutions through user feedback

Qualifications

* Masters in computer science, engineering, technical mathematics, or similar
* Knowledge in data-driven methods, such as generative AI and neural networks
* Exposure to C/C++ programming and mathematical or numerical analysis
* Knowledge in Git and other versioning management systems will be preferred
* Effective communication skills with proficient level of English language, both written and spoken
