UAF Support Lead, External Fulfillment - Easy Ship

MX External Fulfillment (EF) includes a variety of programs: Vendor Flex (VF) and Direct Fulfillment (DF). Through these programs, Amazon works hand in hand with a wide range of vendors to ship products from warehouses external to Amazon directly to our customers. The Unified Alternative Fulfillment (UAF) team ensures operational excellence across both programs by monitoring metrics, managing standard processes, and serving as the intermediary between Amazon and our business partners.

The UAF DF & VF Operations Associate works on the Back-End Team (HOTW - Hands Off The Wheel) and is responsible for monitoring operational metrics, executing standard processes, and supporting automation initiatives that help external vendors have a seamless experience when fulfilling orders on Amazon. This role identifies operational errors, anticipates implications, analyzes root causes, and helps vendors prevent and control detected issues. The position also supports program performance by providing visibility to key metrics and escalating critical issues through established protocols.

Key job responsibilities
Owns daily metric monitoring across Direct Fulfillment and Vendor Flex programs (FDPS, LSR, EDD, Lead Time), identifying anomalies and escalating deviations before they impact customer experience.

Leads root cause analysis on operational errors and vendor performance issues, translating findings into actionable corrective steps that prevent recurrence.

Executes standard operating processes and automation workflows (HOTW) to ensure scalable, consistent operations across the UAF network with minimal manual intervention.

Manages the escalation pipeline by filtering, prioritizing, and routing critical issues through established protocols to ensure timely resolution of high-priority matters.

Serves as the operational intermediary between Amazon and external vendors, communicating performance gaps, process requirements, and corrective actions through remote channels.

Tracks and reports program growth metrics (GMS, selection, volume, contribution profit) to provide visibility into business health and hold partners accountable through regular reporting cadences.

Supports vendor onboarding coordination by partnering with Retail, Account Management, and operations teams to ensure new DF and VF vendors integrate smoothly into the network.

Drives continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies, proposing solutions, and supporting cross-functional initiatives that enhance seller and customer experience.

Anticipate implications based on data and its trends.

Be organized and precise in notifying and updating any relevant situation.

A day in the life
You start your shift reviewing operational dashboards across the Direct Fulfillment and Vendor Flex network, scanning delivery speed and shipment accuracy metrics node by node and flagging deviations. You investigate root causes of vendor performance issues, communicate corrective steps, and route critical escalations to leadership with context and recommendations. You coordinate with Retail teams on vendor onboarding, update weekly performance trackers, and run automation checks before handing off open items to the next rotation. Every day balances reactive monitoring with proactive problem-solving to keep the network running seamlessly for customers.

Profil requis du candidat:

- high school diploma or bachelor's degree
- Experience pulling data from databases using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems
- Experience working in a supply chain, transportation, project management or management consulting role
