Description du poste:
You. Better. With Alan.
Alan is building a vertically integrated health partner that unites insurance and smart healthcare delivery into one seamless system. Our vision is to make prevention the new norm of care for all.
Our mission: Help people live in good health to 100 while helping employers feel proud, turning health benefits from a cost centre into their most valuable investment.
By connecting all aspects of care (private, public, and direct to consumer) we create the most member-centric healthcare experience, reducing claims costs while generating new monetization opportunities.
We partner with tens of thousands of companies across France 🇫🇷, Spain 🇪🇸, Belgium 🇧🇪, and Canada 🇨🇦, serving over a million members.
How we work: our Leadership Principles
* Mission is the Boss - We think long-term and are methodical optimists who take risks, seeking our mission's success above all else.
* Distributed Ownership - Accountable enlightened despots: everyone owns their decisions and results.
* Radical Transparency - All information is accessible and written-first, so everyone can make the best decisions asynchronously.
* Always Growing - Direct, positive, and caring feedback, combined with self-growth ownership.
⭐️ Medical Lead - Telemedicine ⭐️
Our Health Professionals team embeds clinical expertise across Alan's integrated care model to deliver innovative healthcare services with quality, efficiency, and compelling differentiation.
We're scaling Alan's telemedicine offering to become a cornerstone of our integrated care model - teleconsultations, medical chat, and AI agents working together to deliver exceptional care.
You'll lead a growing team of GPs across multiple telemedicine offerings and geographies, defining clinical practices that balance excellence with efficiency for optimal patient experience, embedding value-based healthcare principles throughout. Day to day, you will collaborate with a dedicated Ops team to define and drive excellence of those health services.
The challenges
* Scale and lead a remote-first medical team - recruit, onboard, and manage 50+ GPs and specialists across geographies, fostering engagement around shared outcomes and integrated care.
* Establish a feedback culture - shape a medical team where physicians embrace peer feedback and case reviews for continuous improvement, in a supportive and bienveillance environment.
* Establish medical governance and ensure quality & safety - set up clinical committees, case reviews, and incident management. Develop protocols aligned with national guidelines, define appropriate teleconsultation use cases, ensure compliance.
* Define clinical practices for integrated care - create telemedicine guidelines that optimize medical quality, patient experience, and cost-effectiveness across the care pathway.
* Drive outcomes that matter - establish metrics beyond process indicators: health impact, member experience, cost-effectiveness, and specific clinical patterns.
* Shape AI-augmented medical practice - contribute to product teams on how GPs work with AI.
* Build integrated care pathways - potentially bridging digital with physical medical centers to create seamless patient journeys.
⭐️ If you have some of the following, you may be a great fit ⭐️
Core requirements:
* Medical degree (GP or relevant specialty), registered with French Medical Council, 5+ years post-qualification experience. Public health or digital health training is a plus.
* Fluent English and French; third language is a plus
* Team leadership experience - you've managed medical teams and/or coordinated complex cross-functional projects.
* Corporate healthcare experience (health tech, insurers, digital health) or public health sector outside hospitals. You grasp business and organizational dynamics, and collaborate naturally with non-medical teams.
* Digital health & telemedicine experience (Qare, Livi, Doctolib, etc.) with genuine excitement about AI as an enabler of better care
* Value-based healthcare experience - you've designed care pathways that balance clinical quality, patient experience, GP engagement, and cost-effectiveness in real-world settings. You proactively discuss healthcare economics and resource allocation, seeing thoughtful resource use as essential to good medicine.
How you work:
* You are entrepreneurial with bias for action - you thrive in fast-moving environments, make decisions with incomplete information, and iterate quickly
* You are a strong communicator and change leader - you embrace and foster feedback culture, bringing physicians along on change through empathetic challenge
Plus:
* Experience in integrated care models or health insurance medical operations
* Track record scaling medical teams in growth environments
* Familiar with French telemedicine regulatory framework and healthcare system
Experience level: We're looking for physicians with 5-10 years of post-qualification experience
