Job Summary:**

Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Trainee to support our finance department. This entry-level position offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in financial analysis, reporting, and operations within a dynamic automotive supplier.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
* Support the budget and forecasting processes by gathering data, preparing spreadsheets, and performing initial analysis.
* Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
* Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
* Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
* Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and procedures.
* Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required by management.
* Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (recently graduated or actively pursuing).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and other Microsoft Office Suite applications.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proactive and eager to learn.
* Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
