Based: Yerevan, Armenia / Full-time internship / 1 year Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software. We are looking for a Software Developer Engineer Intern to join our Siemens EDA team in Yerevan, Armenia. In this role, you will support the development of advanced Design for Test (DFT) solutions within the Tessent product portfolio, contributing to software used for the design, validation, and testing of integrated circuits and semiconductor devices.

What you'll be doing

* Implement software features within the Tessent development environment
* Support investigation and resolution of customer-reported technical issues
* Participate in software development discussions and collaborate with international engineering teams
* Work with technologies such as Linux, Bash, Tcl, C++/STL, Verilog, Jira, and Microsoft Teams

What you'll need

* Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
* Good knowledge of C++ / STL
* Basic understanding of object-oriented programming
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to learn from technical documentation
* Good communication skills in English
* Interest in semiconductor technologies and EDA / DFT methodologies

Nice to have

* Familiarity with Git, Mercurial, or CVS
* Experience with scripting languages and regular expressions
* Basic knowledge of Verilog or other hardware description languages

* Open to currently enrolled students or recent graduates
* International applicants must already hold a valid visa and/or work permit
* Siemens does not provide visa or work permit support for this internship
