Responsibilities

Understand the work flows and work procedures of a battery testing lab and participate in daily tasks under the supervision of relevant personnel

* Check equipment calibration and due dates​

* Ensure all equipment is properly labelled with asset tags and stickers​

* Maintain preventative maintenance logs for environmental chambers​

* Inspect safety gear and PPE stations weekly​

* Audit and organize test paperwork and 'test travelers'​

* Perform daily data scraping and organization from cyclers to servers​

* Generate preliminary data plots (discharge/charge curves)​

* Conduct weekly inventory of lab consumables (electrolyte, gloves, etc.)​

* Verify environmental chamber setpoints daily​

* Perform weekly data backups and cable management

Requirements

* Strong organizational skills for maintaining technical documentation​

* Competence in inventory management and laboratory hygiene​

* Familiarity with battery testing hardware (Arbin, Maccor, Neware, etc.)​

* Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Python, or MATLAB)​

* Attention to detail for equipment calibration and labelling​

* Basic understanding of electrical safety and PPE requirements
