Then join us as an Intern in our Competition Law team in Global Legal, Intellectual Property & Security (GLIPS) at Novo Nordisk where you will get an opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues.
Your new role
As a Competition Law Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting tasks and assume a high degree of responsibility. You will support our senior management on strategic projects, global processes, and other ad hoc tasks related to advising the global organization and global stakeholders. You can expect to assist with providing competition law advice to stakeholders, while also learning about various aspects of corporate organization.
Your responsibilities include:
* Contribute to high-impact strategic initiatives within the function, directly aligning outcomes with the function's strategic goals and with a focus on improving operational efficiency, and safeguarding our business
* Work closely with the Competition Law team on a variety of competition law matters, including advising on transactions, providing competition law counselling and training, and assisting with potential investigations and litigation
* Assist in creating clear guidance and training materials relating to competition law topics
* Create and maintain intranet sites and pages (e.g., on SharePoint) to support internal communication, share resources, and enhance collaboration across the organization
To support your growth, you will be supported by a manager, who will provide feedback on your work and help you maximize your learning journey.
Practical details
The internship period is a minimum of 6 months (with the possibility to extend) and is a full-time internship (37 hours per week). Exam periods will be taken into account.
The start date is 1st of September 2026, and a Danish full-time work permit is required for non-EU citizens.
Your new department
GLIPS is based at Novo Nordisk's headquarters in Bagsværd, Denmark. We are responsible for advising and supporting the business on various legal matters and drive strategic projects to the benefit of the function and our stakeholders. The Competition Law team in GLIPS oversees advice on all competition law matters and provides counselling and training to colleagues across the globe. We believe our Intern will have a lot to contribute with and bring new ways of thinking, which is why we are committed to ensuring you become an integrated part of our team.
Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for an ambitious student who wants to build practical skills while studying. To be successful in the role, you:
* Are currently pursuing a bachelor's (final year) or master's degree in law or a law-related field with strong academic credentials (coursework in competition law is a plus)
* Have demonstrated interest in antitrust and competition law, supported by relevant academic, work or extracurricular experience
* Are organized and structured working style with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely across stakeholders
* Have a strong sense of ownership and leadership, high professional standards, and a solid work ethic with a proactive, "can-do" attitude in fast-paced environments
* Are fluent in written and spoken English and proficient in MS Office

Salary and Benefits: if allowed by the educational institution from where the Intern is enrolled, the monthly salary is fixed. The monthly base rate is 15.900 DKK plus a pension scheme (currently 10% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution).
