Vanderlande is seeking a motivated and analytical Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Intern to support our North America Supply Chain organization. This internship provides hands-on experience working on real operational improvement initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams across Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, and Project Management.
The intern will support process analysis, continuous improvement initiatives, and data-driven decision-making efforts that help improve efficiency, quality, and performance across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
* Analyze current supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
* Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles and structured problem-solving methods
* Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather data, document processes, and develop insights
* Assist with planning, tracking, and execution of improvement projects from initiation through implementation
* Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure improvement impact
* Create process documentation, standard work, and improvement recommendations
* Prepare presentations and summaries for project teams and leadership

Required Qualifications
* Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in:
* Supply Chain Management
* Operations Management
* Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
* Computer Science
* Business or a related field
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications
* Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
* Experience with data analysis or visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
* Coursework or project experience related to process improvement or operations analytics
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
