Aramark at UNCW is searching for Marketing Interns to support a Peer-to-Peer program with the UNCW Dining Team! This is a great opportunity to build your resume, connect with other students and earn some dollars doing it! If you have a passion for engaging with people, please consider submitting your interest!
Peer to Peer Marketing Interns will communicate with both parents and incoming students about the benefits of enrolling in a meal plan and the dining options on campus. They will work with a team to reach sales goals for university meal plans and support marketing promotions with all campus dining locations. They will also support the marketing department in maintaining customer satisfaction and retaining meal plan members by following marketing strategies provided for the academic year. You must have flexible availability throughout the months of April, May and June with the option to continue working during the 26-27 school year.
* Knowledgeable about Meal Plans and overall Dining Services Program
* Adhere to all policies/ procedures
* Detail oriented
* Utilize the tools and technology available to sell meal plans
* Able to prioritize and carry out work tasks

Job Responsibilities

* Create social media content related to UNCW Dining.
* Assist in Dining tabling events and activities around campus to educate and sell meal plans.
* Distribute marketing material and promotional items.
* Assist with various other marketing events and tasks during key times in the Fall & Spring semester.
* Ability to communicate student trends by providing information on student needs, study habits, and activities to assist in identifying missed on-campus markets.

Qualifications

* Active UNC Wilmington Student
* Demonstrates great verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrates a passion for engaging with people and overall professionalism on the job
* Demonstrates dedication and commitment to academics and prior jobs
* Desire to actively engage with customers to promote and grow meal plan sales
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
