Job Description
* Support assembly process improvement, automation, and manufacturing engineering projects to enhance productivity and efficiency.
* Assist in testing production equipment, product functionality, and traceability systems to ensure operational effectiveness.
* Collect, analyze, and report manufacturing data to support process optimization and capacity planning activities.
* Participate in assembly line setup, machine upgrades, and process validation activities in collaboration with engineering teams.
* Support Industry 4.0 and smart factory initiatives, including automation, digitalization, and data-driven improvement projects.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance) while preparing project documentation and progress reports.
Qualifications
* Active diploma/bachelor's degree student in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
* Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, automation systems, and industrial equipment is an advantage.
* Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and productivity concepts through coursework, projects, or internships.
* Knowledge of PLCs, robotics, Industry 4.0, IoT, data analytics, or digital manufacturing tools is a plus.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and eager to learn manufacturing engineering technologies and best practices.
* Available to intern in Batam for 12 months
