What You'll Do
As a SAP iXp Intern in Concur Validation and Administration, you will:
* Validate and approve Concur contracts for Japan and other regions using internal systems
* Provide internal customer support by assisting with contract activation and filing
* Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Contracts teams to ensure compliance with Concur policies, Delegation of Authority (DOA), and Revenue Recognition (RevRec) requirements
* Create and manage contracts using standardized templates for existing and prospective SAP Concur customers
* Draft, modify, update, and finalize contracts from a commercial perspective
* Review deal proposals submitted by Account Executives
* Support Sales teams by responding to inquiries related to SAP Concur contracts
* Contribute to team projects such as onboarding programs, process documentation, and system/process improvements
What You Bring
We are looking for individuals who are proactive, curious, and motivated to learn through meaningful work.
* Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program relevant to the role
* Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and Japanese
* Additional languages such as Spanish, German, or French are a plus
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and unclear language
* Analytical, process-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
* Self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal and communication abilities
* Effective time management skills and the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a global team environment
* Comfortable handling complex information in a dynamic setting
Working Conditions
* This is a part-time internship position based in Japan
* Working hours are expected to be approximately 20-25 hours per week, allowing flexibility alongside academic commitments
* Due to local labor regulations, working hours must not exceed 30 hours per week
* Full-time work (40 hours/week) is not applicable for this position
* Weekend work is not expected
* Work schedules will be arranged in coordination with the manager based on business needs and the intern's availability
Meet Your Team
The Concur Deal Support team, part of the Specialized Deal Support function within the Commercial Finance Center of Excellence (CoE), is dedicated to delivering expertise that helps our business partners succeed.
The team supports SAP Concur contract processes, including contract creation, modification, validation, and activation. We work closely with Sales, Legal, Deals Desk, IT, Implementation, and Billing teams to ensure seamless operations and strong collaboration.
As a global organization, we operate across EMEA, APJ, and the Americas, offering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
Selection Process
The selection process for this role consists of two interview rounds:
- 1st Interview: HR (Recruiter) interview conducted in Japanese
- 2nd Interview: Hiring team interview conducted in English
