Intern: Research Analyst for Strategy & Market Intelligence team in Luxembourg

CONTEXT AND CHALLENGES

Working within the Strategy & Market Intelligence team (Luxembourg), part of the Strategy & Corporate Development division in Paris, you will be mandated to support various assignments in the field of Market and Competitor watch.

As part of an international, cross-location team, you will be contributing to projects supporting the strategic business development and transformation (SBDT) of the organization.

WHAT'S YOUR DAY-TO-DAY MISSION?

Market & Competitor Research And Analysis

* Support the construction of market/sector reports with a focus on Alternatives & Institutional Asset Owner clients
* Assist with competitor benchmarking studies (via data research, AI, public domain, interviews etc.)
* Perform data collection on competitors' product initiatives & mandates (via industry databases, subscriptions etc.)
* Assume ad-hoc research tasks on market trends / dynamics, clients and contenders
* Prepare presentations and findings of projects' milestones & draft outputs

Enrichment & continuous update of the market research library, databases:

* Coherent and regular maintenance of our Strategy & Market Intelligence library including attribution of key news, reports / magazines & data across client segments / industry themes
* Construction of database streams for the relevant client segments, incl. client universes, wallet sizing or bespoke queries (pivot table, xls extracts etc.)

Organisational Team Support

* Preparation of support material for workshops, cross-location calls or team meetings / offsites
* Drafting of meeting minutes and follow-ups (where required)
* Any other support to internal client-related requests and respective presentations

ARE YOU OUR FUTURE Research Analyst ?

Professional Experience And/or Degree

University degree in Finance, Economics, Strategy or Business Admin. orientation (ideally Bac+5).

Behavioural Skills

* Ability to collaborate / Teamwork

Transversal Skills

High level of autonomy & proactivity, alongside team player ability and integration

Techncical Skills

Experience w/ AI-supported research (LLM, Co-pilot etc.)

At ease with MS Office package (incl. Excel, PPT & Word)

Language Skills

Good communication and writing skills (FR and EN: good command in writing & spoken)
