YOUR ROLE Within the DTIT department at ST Bouskoura, we are driving the digital transformation of manufacturing and support functions. As part of this effort, we are looking for an intern to work on IT operations productivity enhancement through automation, focusing on process audit, optimization, and implementation of automated solutions (including RPA where relevant). This internship offers a concrete, industrial environment where you will collaborate with multiple IT teams and contribute to tangible improvements in operational efficiency. Internship Subject & Main Missions Title: IT Operations Productivity Enhancement through Automation Your missions will include: 1. IT Operations & Workflow Processes Audit and Analysis * Map and analyze current IT operations workflows (service desk, incident/request management, recurring operational tasks, etc.). * Identify pain points, bottlenecks, and time-consuming manual activities. * Propose improvement axes based on data and observations. 2. Automation & RPA Opportunities Identification * Identify tasks and processes suitable for automation and/or RPA. * Evaluate potential gains in productivity, quality, and response time. * Prioritize opportunities in collaboration with IT operations and DTIT teams. 3. Design & Implementation of Automation * Design automation workflows (low-code/no-code tools, scripts, or RPA platforms, Terraform, Ansible , depending on the local stack). * Develop, test, and validate automated solutions with IT stakeholders. * Contribute to deployment and stabilization of the implemented automations. 4. Service Desk Optimization * Analyze service desk activities, KPIs, and typical ticket lifecycle. * Propose and implement improvements (automation, standardization, templates, self-service, knowledge base usage, etc.). * Contribute to improving user experience and reducing ticket resolution time. General Responsibilities * Collaborate closely with IT operations, Service Desk, Security, Applications, and Infrastructure teams. * Monitor technology trends in ITSM, automation, and RPA and suggest relevant ideas or improvements. * Manage your activities with a project mindset: * Define and maintain a simple project plan. * Track progress and deliverables. * Identify risks and issues and propose mitigation actions. * Report regularly to your supervisor. YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES * 2nd year Master's degree student in: * Computer Engineering * Software Engineering * Or equivalent IT/digital field Technical Skills: * Good understanding of: * IT operations / ITIL or ITSM concepts (incidents, requests, changes, etc.). * Workflow and process modeling. * Basic knowledge or strong interest in: * Automation tools (scripts, APIs, low-code platforms, RPA tools, etc.). * Databases and data analysis (e.g. SQL, Excel, Power BI or similar). * Programming/scripting is a plus (e.g. Python, PowerShell,…) Soft Skills: * Analytical and structured mindset. * Autonomy and ability to take initiative. * Good communication skills, both written and verbal. * Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. * Curiosity about digital transformation and continuous improvement.
