About the Fund Centre

The Fund Centre is the centre of expertise for developing and managing fund solutions within ABN AMRO Wealth Management. It is responsible for managing fund-based model portfolios for clients of ABN AMRO Bank.
The team operates in an international environment (Netherlands, France, Belgium and Germany) and works closely with internal stakeholders and external asset managers to deliver innovative and high-performing investment solutions, including both traditional and alternative asset classes.

Your role as an Intern

As an intern, you will support the Fund Centre team in its day-to-day activities across portfolio management and product development. You will contribute to initiatives that help shape the investment offering for clients.

A key part of your role will be researching thematic investment opportunities, such as:

* Technology
* Space and innovation
* Water and sustainability
* Demographics
* Energy transition

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

Thematic Investment Research

* Conduct in-depth research on structural trends and thematic investment opportunities
* Support the identification of relevant funds and asset managers
* Prepare notes and presentations for internal stakeholders
* Monitor developments in global financial markets and emerging themes
* Help analyze fund performance and portfolio characteristics

Mini-projects

* Manage mini-projects to improve our fund-based offering within certain asset classes.

Stakeholder & Team Support

* Prepare presentations and materials for internal meetings and committees
* Collaborate in an international team environment

Who are we looking for?

Education & Background

* Master's or final-year Bachelor's student in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
* If you are a student in a different field of expertise but have an interest in investing, please don't hesitate to apply

Skills & Competencies

* Strong analytical and research skills
* Interest in financial markets and investment products
* Ability to structure complex information and present insights clearly
* Proactive, curious, and detail-oriented
* Strong communication skills in English
