Job Description:
Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Finance Intern - Global Intercompany, from August to December 2026, located in Manila, Philippines.
As a member of our Global Finance team, you will have exclusive access to a network of financial professionals located in over 60 countries. This internship will help you build on your current skills and explore opportunities to grow your career in J&J.
This internship role will be part of the Global Services Finance team in the Global Intercompany Accounting process area. The Global Services Finance organization provides best-in-class, cost-effective financial services, and compliance-in a J&J way-to our Operating Companies around the world.
The GSF GIC team is responsible for the complete and accurate accounting for all transactions. This includes but is not limited to creating the Sales related and corresponding Purchase orders, reconciling out of balances, monitoring ageing, performing balance sheet reconciliations and statutory requirements submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain Operational Excellence
* Assist in executing accounting and daily operations for Global Intercompany process area, including simple and medium complexity transactions.
* Support timely closing and execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirements.
* Contribute to completeness, accuracy, and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope.
* Learn and apply Worldwide Procedures and compliance requirements for respective areas under supervision.
* Assist in Balance Sheet reconciliations to minimize open items.
* Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities.
* Understand, adhere to, and execute worldwide policies and procedures. Help identify compliance risks and recommend solutions.
* Assist in ensuring strong internal controls are in place, supporting "adequate" internal and external audit ratings.
2. Be a Trusted Business Partner
* Support the execution of global Strategy & Solutions in line with taxonomy.
* Assist Process Subject Matter Experts (SME's) and Operational Key Contacts (OKC's) to ensure cross sector, cross region, and cross process alignment, ensuring good documentation is maintained and consistency of a global approach.
3. Create Game-Changing Innovation
* Generate ideas and foster a continuous improvement mindset, identifying and pursuing process efficiency opportunities.
* Support the execution of process improvements in line with global standards.
4. Be compliant with applicable laws and regulations, and follow guidelines in the J&J Credo
Qualifications
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics, Management Engineering, or related business discipline
* Prior internship or relevant part-time experience in accounting, finance or a related field is an advantage, but not required
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders
* Open to new ideas and can develop effective ways of working
* Good command of English, both oral and written
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Learning agility, adaptability to change with a growth mindset
