About the programme:
The Deutsche Bank Internship Programme is designed to help you develop your skills through formal training and continuous support. You'll quickly gain the confidence to take on real projects by learning first-hand how and what we deliver for clients worldwide. You'll feel supported by colleagues from across our business and start to develop your professional network.
About the division:
The Private Bank combines Deutsche Bank's private client's business and its international business with private and commercial clients together with Wealth Management in a single division.
In both the domestic German market and worldwide the Private Bank provides high-quality advice to over 20 million clients and a broad range of financial services in 19 countries - ranging from day-to-day banking services right through to advisory services for sophisticated Private Banking and Wealth Management clients.
About the role:
Throughout the summer you will gain a wide range of practical experience focussing on our product business area for private and wealth clients. Including Banking, Lending and Investment Solution products you will also benefit from training, seminars and a variety of networking events. Successful interns will be invited to join our enhanced one-year PB Program structure which provides for enhanced product focus, greater clarity on career pathing and structured learning. The specific tasks that you deal with will depend on your role within the team. You will be trained by the best, evolve professionally as well as personally, and build a firm foundation for your career progression.
What we look for:
We are looking for motivated university graduates who like to work in a team and are enthusiastic team players with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
You should not only be passionate about financial topics but bring your awareness of tactical developments in markets and the importance of longer-term strategic asset allocation to provide analysis and commentary to both clients and colleagues.
Being proficient in Microsoft Office software (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) whilst familiarity with Bloomberg would be advantageous. You can build on your outstanding academic achievements and benefit from working in a professional and diverse environment with some of the best minds in banking.
To be eligible for the 2026 Internship Programme, you must:
* Complete your studies (all final exams, coursework and have no outstanding requirements for graduation) between 1st August 2026 and 31st July 2027.
* Return to full-time study after the 2026 internship. If you do not return to full-time study you will not be eligible for the 2027 Graduate Programme.
* Be able to start full time work in July 2027, subject to local working legislation and visa requirements.
* You should also be on track for a 2:1 or First (or equivalent) in your undergraduate degree.
* Possess no more than 12 months full-time, relevant work experience (excluding internships).
