About the M&A Team
Danone's M&A Team reports directly to the Group CFO and plays a central role in shaping the Group's portfolio and strategic direction.
Over recent years, Danone has been highly active in M&A and portfolio management, executing a robust pipeline of acquisitions and disposals across geographies and categories. Transactions span a wide range of deal sizes and strategic rationales, providing broad exposure to real world corporate finance, valuation, and strategy topics.
The team is organized into two regional hubs:
* Paris, covering Europe & the Americas
* Singapore and Bangkok, covering Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa
Operating at the intersection of strategy and finance, the M&A Team is involved throughout the full transaction lifecycle-from strategic assessment and valuation to execution and closing.
As an M&A intern, you will join a highly driven and international team, gaining hands on exposure to live transactions and portfolio initiatives. You will work closely with senior team members and external advisors, developing strong analytical, financial modelling, and strategic thinking skills in a fast paced, high impact environment.

* Monitor M&A and sector developments across the region, proactively identifying potential acquisition or divestment targets and building / updating company profiles (business overview, strategic fit, financials, ownership, valuation, etc.)
* Contribute to monthly regional M&A review materials presented to senior management, including market activity summaries, pipeline tracking, and transaction status updates
* Support the execution of live M&A transactions across the full deal lifecycle, with responsibilities including:
*
* Financial analysis and valuation work (trading comparables, transaction comparables, DCF support)
* Financial modelling support for investment cases and scenario analyses
* Preparation of M&A memos, management presentations, and internal decision materials
* Coordination with internal stakeholders and external advisors
* Undertake ad hoc strategic and analytical projects related to portfolio management, business case assessments, and transaction preparation, depending on deal flow and priorities

To be successful in this role, you will need…
The following technical skills and experience:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Business-related field;
* Strong understanding of finance;
* Prior M&A knowledge (e.g. technical know-how and transaction process);
* Solid accounting skills; and
* Strong command of the English language.
