About the team The Business Infrastructure team aims to provide unified access layer and architecture depth services for the organisation's internal business lines and products. Based on the internal infrastructure, Volcano Engine (or other public clouds) has two types of Infrastructure providers and is responsible for the organisation's architecture stability, architecture disaster recovery and service experience. We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2026. Internships at ByteDance aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Successful candidates must be able to commit to either of the following Internships - From January to June (onboard by 12 Jan 2026) - From May to August (onboard by 11 May 2026) Responsibilities: - Build a cloud management system, which has a general multi-cloud adaptation layer and improves the ecological capabilities of the R&D process. - Build a billing system, which establishes the cost analysis dashboard and cost optimization on the public cloud. - Build a cloud migration system, which automatically migrates large-scale microservices and storage clusters to the public cloud. - Build a disaster recovery system, and improve the system's fault detection and automatic recovery capabilities for multi-AZ and multi-cloud scenarios

Profil requis du candidat:

Minimum Qualification - Undergraduate or Postgraduate who is currently pursuing a degree/master in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Preferred Qualifications - Familiar with one or more programming languages, such as Python, Go, and Java. - Solid basic knowledge of computer software, understanding of Linux operating system, storage, network IO and other related principles.
