What the role is

The department provides a wide range of business support services to staff, tenants, visitors, and the public. Its main goal is to deliver efficient, professional, and friendly services that support daily operations and help build a customer-focused and people-oriented organisation. It ensures that staff have the resources, information, and environment they need to work effectively. Its core functions include managing information, property, and office support services. This involves safeguarding important records and supporting research needs, maintaining buildings and spaces to ensure a safe and comfortable environment, and providing office services such as telephony, asset tracking, and supplies. Together, these services help keep the organisation running smoothly and support both staff and operational needs.

This internship will be under CDG.

What you will be working on

You will be working on:
- Operations Support
- Support M&E systems monitoring and maintenance documentation
- Assist in facilities management operations (cleaning, security, events, carpark management)
- Maintain databases, prepare reports, and update documentation Digital Transformation Projects
- Assist in digitising manual processes and paper-based systems
- Help develop digital dashboards for facility performance monitoring
- Contribute to automation of routine maintenance scheduling and reporting
- Assist in creating digital workflows for service requests and approvals

Learning Outcomes
The intern is expected to gain:
- Facilities Management Expertise: Understanding of integrated FM operations and building systems
- Digital Transformation Skills: Experience in process digitalisation and smart building technologies
- Project Management: Coordination techniques for renovation projects and system implementations
- Data Analytics: Skills in performance monitoring, reporting, and process optimisation
- Professional Skills: Stakeholder management, compliance awareness, and technical communication

What we are looking for

Internship Period: Full-time internship from August - December 2026 (3-months or longer internship preferred). To facilitate the hiring process, please state your availability, including specific start and end date in your resume or application form.

Student pursuing Engineering or Facilities Management related courses.

We are looking for candidates with the following attributes:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools
- Familiarity with digital design tools (Canva, basic AutoCAD knowledge preferred)
- Interest in IoT, building automation systems, and digital transformation
- Basic programming or database management skills will be an advantage
