Job Summary:What you need to know about the role

As a Software Engineer in the POS Onboarding & Activation team, you will be working on ensuring a streamlined experience for the new merchants who want to start using PayPal Point of Sale system.

You will be part of an amazing group of experienced software engineers who work both on frontend and backend, collaborating with product managers, designers and engineers from many other teams at PayPal in Stockholm and across the world.

You will have a lot of autonomy in what you would like to do and where you want to impact. You can focus on improving the onboarding and activation experience for our merchants, the way how they buy POS hardware and get to start using it. Or maybe you will be improving the development experience for your colleagues, making the team more efficient. The team is here to help you navigate priorities and do the right thing in a best way possible.

Your day to day

You will be collaborating with your engineering team, product manager and designers to set the requirements, design and implement solutions. Together with your teammates, you will make sure that your code meets the quality standards and deploy it production. And after all that, you'll make sure that all systems are monitored and are operating as expected. You will grow and learn at work daily.

What do you need to bring

Good mood and a lot of energy. We are eager to have you in the team to help us become better and learn together. It is preferred to have interest and/or experience working with Web applications either on frontend or backend.
