4 months paid Internship in Transport & Logistics department
Inditex Nordics

Location: Head Office, Nordic Countries (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland)

As part of Transport and Logistics department, your main role will be to provide good service to all stores in Nordic region (Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland) in the field of transport and logistics.
Your main tasks will be:
* Coordinate regular transport and movement of merchandise - clothing, furniture, decoration materials and others - within the Nordic countries, Spain and external warehouses.
* Close follow up on the arrival of international trucks to our local platforms in Denmark and Lithuania. In case of incidences, provide all relevant information to the structure and Stores, as well as plan additional deliveries if needed.
* Follow up delivery incidences:
* a. Late deliveries.
* b. Missing bundles.
* c. Unloading mistakes in the stores.
* Follow up inverse logistics from the stores to local platforms.
* You will be the main link between the stores and Transport/Logistics suppliers, forwarding all requests from the stores to our different providers.
* Coordinate transfers of other materials between the stores and our Head Office in Stockholm.
Your support might be needed in:
* Tender processes of last mile transportation services in the Nordic countries.
* Transport/Logistics flow of the online returns from Norwegian final customers to Inditex Distribution Center.
* Transport flow of the inverse logistics from Norway stores to Inditex's Distribution Centers.
* Follow up on last mile transport KPIs of ecommerce deliveries to final customers, as well as support Inditex customer service with cases related to transportation.
* Improve the cooperation between Inditex and NGO partners in Nordic countries.
Skills and attitudes needed for this position:
* Proficiency in English. Knowledge of Swedish and/or Spanish is advantage.
* Has work experience in logistics and/or transport field.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
