Your role
Interested in working in finance, specifically to support business clients, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint?
We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2026 Off-cycle Internship Program within our Corporate and Institutional Clients (CIC) business in Switzerland.
You'll get to
* support the Growth Advisory team in the sourcing of potential equity fundraising and growth credit transactions, leveraging not only the corporate clients, WM but also the bank's external networks
* help the team in doing a first triage of the incoming opportunities by reviewing the pitch decks, talking to the founder team, scrutinizing the business plan, financial planning etc.
* support the team in preparing the documentation required for the equity fundraising and growth credit processes
* keep the team's marketing documentation up to date and liaise with client advisors on the corporate and WM side on potential enquiries
* support the team in marketing, administrative, event related, process, reporting and controlling activities
Your team
You'll be working in the UBS Growth Advisory team, which is part of the Swiss Corporate Finance department, in Zurich (Europaallee). Our team supports innovative Swiss scaleups with growth credits as well as equity fundraising services - not only by presenting such direct investment opportunities to our WM clients but also by leveraging UBS network on the corporate and institutional client's side and through various event and partnership platforms. In over 200 transactions since 2015 we have provided the Swiss scaleup ecosystem with more than CHF 550m, both in form of growth credits and investors' equity and have supported well-known Swiss scaleups such as for example On Shoes, VIU, Anybotics, Ecorobotix, H55 or Voliro.
Your expertise
We're looking for a candidate who
* has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor's degree, and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor's or master's degree)
* has a competitive minimum GPA of 4.5 according to the Swiss grading system
* has excellent German and English skills (written and oral)
* has outstanding communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all seniority levels
* has an autonomous, diligent and detail-oriented work style
* has previous experience or familiarity of private equity, venture capital or M&A
* has sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
* has extensive experience with MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint)
