Internship - Test Engineer

Description du poste:

The student will focus on leveraging a dashboard to visualize and analyze yield performance, and converting yield data files into a user-friendly format. The goal is to create a intuitive and interactive platform that enables easy access and understanding of yield data, facilitating data-driven decision making and process improvement.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

* Support product engineering team in daily technical and production activities
* Monitoring production yield performance and highlight abnormal trends
* Develop and maintain yield monitoring dashboard (e.g., using Tableau, Excel, Power BI)
* Track daily/weekly yield performance against target and specification limits
* Coordinate with production, quality and related teams to follow up on issues
Internship learning outcomes:

* Gained a clear understanding of product structure, specifications and manufacturing processes
* Learn to collect and analyse production data such as yield and defect rate
* Apply problem solving tool (e.g., 5 Why, Fishbones diagram) to identify root causes
* Learn to support yield improvement and defect reduction activities

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Data Science or related disciplines
* Proficiency in data analysis tools, including:
* Microsoft Excel (required)
* Business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI (required)
* Programming languages like Python or MATLAB (optional)
* Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts effectively
