Mercedes-Benz Vietnam Ltd. (MBV), a joint venture with the German-based Mercedes-Benz AG and SAMCO, was incorporated on the 14th of April in 1995. MBV has been tasked with the assembly and distribution of passenger cars. Since our foundation in 1995, we have been a key player in the local automotive industry, especially in the luxury segment.

As an Engineering Intern, your responsibilities will include:
* Coordinate with the Process Engineering team and relevant stakeholders (IE, ITO, Facility, and shopfloor owners).
* Collect and manage data of all client systems and equipment on the shopfloor.
* Support ITO team in implementing cybersecurity activities, including system hardening, backup, and recovery.
* Assist in monitoring and maintaining cybersecurity compliance in production environments.
* Participate in cybersecurity awareness activities and events within Manufacturing Operations (MO).
* Support Facility team in adjusting and programming machines on the shopfloor.
* Assist in backup and recovery processes for PLCs and robotic systems.
* Identify operational issues and propose improvement solutions where applicable.
* Support administrative and coordination tasks as assigned.
* Participate in the full improvement/support cycle: observation → data collection → analysis → implementation → follow-up.

Qualifikationen

Who we are looking for?
* Vietnamese citizen with full legal eligibility to work in Vietnam.
* Remains a student throughout the 6-month internship period, including the end of November 2026
* Undergraduate student majoring in Automation Engineering (preferred), or Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related fields.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks, with strong attention to detail and careful working habits.
* Basic knowledge of industrial systems and equipment, including PLCs and robotics, is an advantage.
* Fundamental understanding of cybersecurity concepts (e.g., system hardening, backup & recovery) is a plus.
* Good computer skills, especially in working with industrial or technical systems.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
