Responsibilities

Societe Generale Luxembourg's private bank is expanding in Europe, from Luxembourg. Our role within the Private Bank Communication Department is to support and promote this development. Our strategy enables us to work with various partners, in different European countries (Luxembourg, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Greece, etc.). Working closely with the Private Bank's Management but also with our bankers and experts, we carry out a wide range of missions: external and internal communication, online and in-person events mainly. There's no such thing as routine! This position offers many opportunities to learn and participate in achieving ambitious goals in a human-scale environment. In a complementary team of 7 people, working in a positive and caring mindset, everyone has the opportunity to develop.

Responsabilities:

* Execute the annual communication plan, both for external and internal actions, under the supervision of the Communications Officer of the Private Bank
* Promote our expertise & develop the visibility of the Private Bank on our target markets (Luxembourg and continental Europe) and on a clientele of private investors but also on an intermediated clientele (External Asset Managers, Family Office)
* Communicate internally and inform teams about projects and successes / create the right communication tools
* Coordinate and implement projects:

External communication

* Event: organization of breakfast & conferences, coordination of invitations for our prestigious events (art & culture, Rugby, classical music, etc.)
* Digital & Webinars: creation of acquisition campaigns on social networks and organization of conferences (planning, definitions of topics, experts support)
* Visibility: proof reading of articles written by our experts in various fields (macroeconomics, positive impact finance, etc.), creation of visuals - no press contact

Internal communication

* Organization of internal events: management of logistics and production of dedicated content (invitations, presentation support, etc.)
* Writing articles for newsletters, emailing campaign, production of communication content (shooting and editing of internal videos, visual creation, etc.)

A questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility. For an efficient analysis of your application, please make sure to truthfully answer all the questions.

Please note that it is mandatory to provide us a formal proof of your M2 diploma validation before the assignment start date. No VIE mission will start without this document. *Grade sheets are not accepted as justification of diploma.

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:

* Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Communication
* A previous experience in communication would be appreciated

Language skills:

* Perfect fluency in French and English; Italian or German would be a plus

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

* Good communication and presentation skills
* Digital appetite (linkedIn communication, video, webinar)
* Experience in a bank or in a communications department of a large group is a plus. Knowledge of the private banking professions would be an asset.

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Luxembourg is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
