Context & Environment

Within TotalEnergies EP Congo, you will join the Process Treatment and Laboratory Department, a key contributor to production operations support.
By participating in fluid monitoring, laboratory analyses, and the management of chemical treatments applied to oil and gas facilities, you will play a direct role in ensuring the reliability, integrity, and performance of the affiliate's production assets.

Activities

As a Treatment Methods Engineer, your main responsibilities will be:
* Ensure the monitoring of the performance of gas, oil and industrial water treatment units;
* Contribute to the optimization of chemical treatments in production facilities;
* Analyze results from laboratories and facilities;
* Use analysis data such as pH, spectroscopy and infrared analysis;
* Monitor treatments related to corrosion, H2S removal and fluid quality;
* Produce, consolidate and analyze the department's weekly and monthly reports using Excel and, when required, Power BI;
* Collaborate with operators to understand treatment practices and analysis methods.
Onshore and offshore trips are planned approximately once a month, for a maximum duration of 1 to 2 days. These trips will provide the opportunity to observe the analysis and treatment methods implemented on the facilities, meet operators, observe treatment processes and follow analyses carried out in the laboratory.

Candidate Profile

You hold at least a Master's degree (Bac+5 minimum) (engineering school or university degree) with a specialization in process engineering or chemical engineering.
You have solid academic knowledge in chemical engineering and process engineering.
You have a good knowledge of laboratory analysis methods and systems. Initial experience in this field, gained through an internship or work-study program, is an asset.
Knowledge of the oil and gas sector is also an asset.
You have a good knowledge of Excel and Power BI.
A minimum C1 level in French is required. A minimum B2 level in English is also required.
