VIE - Business Finance Analyst - Barcelona

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and analytical Finance Business VIE to join our Business Finance team. This role will support key financial processes including expense control, budgeting cycles, and Top Line reporting (Orders & Sales). The will gain hands-on experience working closely with Finance Business Partners and cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, financial discipline, and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities
* Expense Control & Budget Management (OPEX: SFC)
* Support monthly tracking of functional expenses versus budget/forecast.
* Monitor cost deviations and assist in variance analysis.
* Collaborate with budget owners to collect expense inputs and maintain data accuracy.
* Assist in preparation of budget files and templates for periodic planning cycles (Budget, Forecast).
* Support governance processes for purchase orders, accruals, and cost optimization initiatives.
* Top Line Support (Orders & Sales Reporting)
* Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of Orders, Sales, and other commercial KPIs.
* Validate data from internal systems and help ensure consistency across business units.
* Prepare consolidated dashboards and presentations used in management reviews.
* Contribute to analysis of trends, deviations, and business performance drivers.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Work with different departments in Finance to gather data and validate assumptions.
* Support communication of key performance indicators and financial insights to internal stakeholders.

What qualifications will make you successful?
* Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
* First experience in finance (internships, apprenticeship)
* Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with a BI tool is a plus.
* Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
* Proactive, organized, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
* English proficiency: additional languages (e.g., Spanish) are a plus
