YOUR MISSIONS AT DANONE:

In the context of building knowledge on alternative proteins design, we are recruiting an apprentice to work on nutritional, technological and scientific aspects of designing alternative protein engines.
This apprenticeship will take place in Gif sur Yvette, at our Danone Global Research & Innovation Center starting from September 2026. Saliha BELAID, Plant protein design senior team leader will guide your day to day tasks and help you grow in your role:
* Proteins engines definition based on nutritional and technological targets.
* Data management and statistical skills for automation objectives.
* Shelf life behavior of high protein products modelisation.

* Up to 2 days/week of remote work
* Full reimbursement of your public transportation pass or partial/full reimbursement of mileage expenses
* "Vendredi je grandis" program: development every Friday afternoon covering career, soft skills, and hard skills.
* Apprenticeship : Your compensation will depend on our salary scale based on your age and level of study.

For this position, we are looking for someone:

* Available from September 2026 for a duration of 1 year
* At the level of Bac+4/5 in university or engineering school wth a specialization in food physics or agri-food
* Who has strong knowledge in Biochemical and physicochemical analytical methods (particle size, rheology, HPLC, zeta potential, etc.).
* With good communication and writing skills with a synthetic spirit
* Background in nutrition. Protein nutritional aspects is a plus.
* Able to understand the needs and constraints of requesters
