The role of Developer Experience within Amadeus teams is pivotal in empowering software engineers to deliver high-quality software efficiently and effectively.  A Software Engineer in this capacity focuses on building and optimizing tools and workflows that enhance productivity, streamline development processes, and foster collaboration across teams. As part of this initiative, you will improve towards more seamless and enjoyable development experience. This role requires a deep understanding of developer needs, the willingness to dive deep into technical topics, and a passion for creating solutions that drive innovation and efficiency within the engineering organization.

Summary of the role

As Implementation Engineer, you will Analyze customer systems and service requirements. Identify specific actions necessary to integrate Amadeus products/services. Establish and manage the product/solution integration schedule. Determine and document adaptations to Amadeus products and services. Write functional specifications used for customization and/or verify that specifications reflect customer requirements. Guarantee that customized products/solutions meet specified requirements. Perform the necessary tests on the customized solution before it is delivered to the customer. Provide functional support and problem resolution to sales and/or customer functional staff. Support project activities during the implementation.

In this role, you will be working with mentors to iteratively implement, deploy and improve on our tools. This includes not just coding activities, but also devops tasks to deploy the product and communication skills when connecting to teams to identify their needs and discuss requirements.

About the ideal candidate

* Education requirement - list desired Major(s)

Computer Science, Software Engineering

* List skills or prior experience needed or preferred

Familiar with QA Functional testing

Familiar with Javascipt/Typescript

Familiar with React

Familiar with following tools

Git

Jenkins

* List any competencies needed

Ability to work well in teams

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Must have English proficiency
