Job description:
Within the Payment operations team, based in Paris, you will participate in accurate and timely execution of day-to-day operational activities such as banking ledger tasks, account closure management, as well as supporting customers and internal stakeholders with inquiries about bank transfer processing.
This role is a 6 months temporary (CDD) contract.
Key responsibilities:
* Monitor daily banking ledger and account transactions: execute funds segregation, process reconciliation, manual corrections and adjustments;
* Investigate anomalies with Finance and Technical Engineering; coordinate with external banking partners to unblock edge cases and resolve operational issues.
* Daily support customers and internal users: investigate rejected/failed missing or delayed bank transfers, manage the account closure requests
* Adhere to operating procedures and SLAs; maintain accurate records; escalate bugs, risks or blockers promptly. Ensure clear communication, timely documentation, and proper archiving.
* Contribute to ad-hoc operational tasks if needed.
What we're looking for :
Essential requirements
* 1-2 years' experience in banking operations, finance, or payments
* High rigour and attention to detail
* Fast learner, comfortable adopting new tools and evolving processes
Technical skills
* Confirmed experience in ledger processing, working knowledge of SEPA
* Used to back-office systems and ticketing tools (e.g., JIRA/Intercom/Zendesk)
* Experience with Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets
Core competencies
* Autonomous, organised, and reliable; knows to manage the priorities and respect SLAs
* Collaborative across internal teams and external partners
* Analytical problem-solver; knows when to escalate
* Clear, concise communication in FR/EN with customers, internal and external stakeholders
