Overview We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join the Legal team supporting Publicis Groupe business areas and agencies across the DACH region, with a primary focus on Germany. Based in Düsseldorf, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with business teams, Group Legal stakeholders and external advisors on a broad range of commercial, advertising, media and marketing services matters. The successful candidate will gradually take independent responsibility for selected legal matters in both German and English, while contributing to pragmatic, business-oriented legal solutions aligned with Group policies and the applicable local legal framework. Responsibilities Support the legal management of Publicis Groupe business areas and agencies across the DACH region, gradually taking independent responsibility for selected matters in German and English. Review, draft and negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers from the advertising and media industry, taking into account the complexity of each matter and the relevant areas of law. Provide legal support in connection with public tenders for marketing services. Review advertising campaigns, creative ideas and marketing concepts from a legal risk perspective, working with the team to develop practical solutions. Support the legal assessment and implementation of new business models within the agencies, including familiarisation with new legal and commercial topics. Assist in handling legal disputes with third parties. Take ownership of organisational and administrative legal tasks, including the preparation of reports, memos and presentations for the Legal Director and/or the Group Legal Department. Develop pragmatic solutions for legal matters in line with Group policies and the applicable local legal framework. Support other legal departments in international framework agreements and projects through research, legal assessments and coordination. Coordinate cooperation with external lawyers in Germany and abroad, in consultation with the Legal Director and/or the team. Report directly to the Head of Legal. Qualifications Qualified lawyer or equivalent legal qualification with relevant professional experience in an in-house legal department or law firm environment. Experience supporting business areas and agencies in Germany and/or across the DACH region, preferably within the advertising, media, marketing services or creative industries. Strong experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts with clients and suppliers in German and English. Solid understanding of commercial law and legal topics related to advertising, media, marketing services, public tenders, dispute support, Group policies and local legal frameworks. Ability to assess legal risks and provide pragmatic, solutions-oriented recommendations. Excellent drafting, negotiation, research, analytical and organisational skills. Collaborative, reliable and able to work effectively with business teams, Group Legal stakeholders and external counsel in Germany and abroad. Fluent German and English language skills are required. Requisiti del candidato:
Qualified lawyer or equivalent legal qualification with relevant professional experience in an in-house legal department or law firm environment.
