Country Finance Manager & Bilanzbuchhalter (m/w/d)

Über die Rolle
Wir suchen einen erfahrenen Country Finance Manager & Bilanzbuchhalter (m/w/d) für Deutschland, der die Steuerung und Qualitätssicherung der Buchhaltung prüfungssicher für die deutschen ERM Gesellschaften nach IFRS und HGB übernimmt. In dieser Rolle koordinieren und Prüfen Sie die Buchhaltungsaktivitäten durch verschiedene spezialisierte Teams des Global Delivery Centers in Indien, erstellen HGB Abschlüsse, stellen korrekte und termingetreue Zahlung aller Steuerarten, Sozialversicherung und Löhne sicher, arbeiten eng mit den Country Finance Managern der Schweiz, Polen und Rumänien zusammen und sind in direkter Abstimmung mit dem Head Office in London.

Ihre Aufgaben
* Koordination, fachliche Steuerung und Prüfung aller Buchhaltungsaktivitäten durch verschiedene spezialisierte Teams des Global Delivery Centers in Indien entsprechend IFRS und Konzernrichtlinien
* Prüfung, Qualitätssicherung und Freigabe der erstellten Buchungen, Abstimmungen und Finanzberichte
* Limitierte operative Buchungstätigkeit - ein Großteil der Buchungen werden durch das Global Delivery Center übernommen
* Meldung der monatlichen IFRS Abschlüsse an den Konzern
* Liquiditätsmanagement und Treasury in Zusammenarbeit mit Group Treasury
* Vorbereitung und Prüfung der Daten für die Umsatzsteuervoranmeldung und Jahresmeldung aus dem ERP System und Freigabe der Meldungen durch den Steuerberater (Big Four)
* Berechnung und Dokumentation aller Rückstellungen
* Erstellung und Überleitung der HGB Abschlüsse inklusive Anhang und Lagebericht
* Sicherstellung der Einhaltung aller lokalen Vorgaben und Compliance Regeln, insbesondere rechtzeitige Abgabe aller Steuererklärungen in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den Steuerberatern und Group Tax
* Koordination der Wirtschaftsprüfer (Big Four), Kommunikation mit Banken, Behörden
* Sicherstellung der korrekten Verbuchung der Payroll in Zusammenarbeit mit HR und externen Dienstleistern
* Koordination und Dokumentation aller Intercompany Verrechnungen
* Kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung, Optimierung, Harmonisierung und Standardisierung bestehender Finance- und Accounting-Prozesse
* Zentrale Ansprechperson für Deutschland mit Vertretungsregelung für die Country Finance Manager der Schweiz, Polen und Rumänien
* Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Head Office in London, Controlling, Finance Director sowie internationalen Finance-Teams und Stakeholdern

Ihr Profil
* Abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung mit Weiterbildung zum Bilanzbuchhalter oder vergleichbarer Hochschulabschluss
* Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Finanz- und Rechnungswesen, idealerweise in internationalen Konzernstrukturen
* Fundierte Kenntnisse in IFRS und HGB
* Erfahrung bei der Vorbereitung und Meldung von Umsatzsteuervoranmeldungen und Jahresmeldungen
* Erfahrung bei der Meldung von Steuererklärungen in Zusammenarbeit mit Steuerberatern
* Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit externen Dienstleistern und Shared Service Centern
* Ausgeprägte analytische Fähigkeiten, strukturierte und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
* Sehr gute Excel- und ERP-Kenntnisse
* Starke Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch und Englisch (verhandlungssicher)
* Freude an der Arbeit in einem internationalen, dynamischen Umfeld

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Country Finance Manager & Accountant (m/f/d) for Germany, who will take over the management and quality assurance of the accounting for the German ERM companies in accordance with IFRS and HGB. In this role, you will coordinate and check accounting activities by various specialized teams of the Global Delivery Center in India, prepare HGB financial statements, ensure correct and timely payment of all types of taxes, social security and wages, work closely with the Country Finance Managers of Switzerland, Poland and Romania and are in direct coordination with the Head Office in London.

Your tasks
* Coordination, functional guidance and review of all accounting activities by various specialized teams of the Global Delivery Center in India in accordance with IFRS and Group guidelines
* Review, quality assurance and approval of the created postings, reconciliations and financial reports
* Limited operational postings activity - a large proportion of bookings are handled by the Global Delivery Center
* Reporting of the monthly IFRS financial statements to the Group
* Preparation and review of the data for the advance VAT declarations and annual return from the ERP system and approval of the reports to the tax consultant
* Calculation and documentation of all provisions
* Preparation and reconciliation of the HGB financial statements including notes and management report
* Ensuring compliance with all local regulations and compliance rules, in particular timely submission of all tax returns in close cooperation with tax advisors and Group Tax
* Coordination of auditors, communication with banks, authorities
* Ensuring the correct posting of the payroll in cooperation with HR and external service providers
* Coordination and documentation of all intercompany settlements
* Continuous development, optimization, harmonization and standardization of existing finance and accounting processes
* Central contact person for Germany with representation arrangements for the Country Finance Managers of Switzerland, Poland and Romania
* Close cooperation with the head office in London, Controlling, Finance Director as well as international finance teams and stakeholders

Your profile
* Degree or professional qualification in accounting/finance (e.g., Certified Accountant) or comparable University degree
* Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting, ideally in international corporate structures
* Sound knowledge of IFRS and HGB
* Experience in the preparation and reporting of VAT declarations and annual returns
* Experience in filing tax returns in cooperation with tax advisors
* Experience in working with external service providers and shared service centers
* Strong analytical skills, structured and solution-oriented way of working
* Very good Excel and ERP skills
* Strong communication skills in German and English (business fluent)
* Enjoyment of working in an international, dynamic environment
