Your responsibilities
· Support of the Front Office Manager in the implementation of the company and operational goals
· Assumption of Manager on Duty services on behalf of the management and representation of the Front Office Manager in his absence,
· Direct communication with the management team and reporting to the front office manager,
· Competent, friendly and cordial approach to our guests as well as creative problem solving and independent handling of complaints
· Ensuring smooth processes and communication at the reception in compliance with the standards as well as with the other departments of the house,
· Onboarding new employees and trainees,
· Taking care of our VIP guests,
· Carrying out check-in and check-out, as well as room changes and invoicing,
· Administrative activities such as duty rostering, vacation planning in cooperation with the front office manager, creation of reports.
What we expect from you
· completed training or studies in the hotel industry,
· 1-2 years of professional experience in a similar position in the upscale hotel industry,
· You have strong communication skills and a confident and positive appearance,
· managerial qualities in terms of personnel management and guest handling,
· You are able to recognize priorities and set them correctly,
· A structured, purposeful and goal-oriented way of working distinguishes you,
· Organizational and teamwork skills as well as self-motivation, loyalty and discretion are not foreign words to you,
· You have the host gene and are 100% reliable,
· Fluent in German and English as well as the use of common computer programs is no problem for you.
