About the opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled IT Operations Specialist to bridge the gap between traditional systems administration and modern automation practices. This role is pivotal in managing our global device and identity footprint while driving a roadmap centered on automation-first workflows.
You won't just be clicking buttons in consoles; you will be writing the code that ensures our environment is scalable, secure, and self-healing.

In this role, you will:

* MDM Architecture & Management: Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of our endpoint management ecosystem, specifically Iru (formerly Kandji) for macOS, Microsoft Intune for Windows, and Google Workspace for ChromeOS
* Automation & Scripting: Develop, test, and maintain robust scripts and automations to eliminate manual tasks. This includes API integrations between IT tools and building custom workflows for onboarding, offboarding, and compliance.
* Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Treat our MDM configurations as code where possible, ensuring version control and peer-reviewed changes to our global policies.
* Security & Compliance: Enforce rigorous security standards across all endpoints, ensuring patches, encryption, and zero-trust configurations are automated and verifiable.
* Technical Escalation: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for complex systems issues, providing Tier 3 support and mentoring junior team members.

What you need to be successful:

* The MDM Trifecta: Proven experience managing Google Workspace, Iru (or JAMF), and Microsoft Intune at an enterprise scale.
* The "Could be automated" Mindset:
* Expertise in at least one Object-Oriented language (e.g., Swift) for building custom tools and integrations.
* Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash/Zsh) and PowerShell for endpoint-level execution.
* API Mastery: Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and how to use them to operate systems and services (e.g., pulling information from our MDM).
* System Architecture: A solid grasp of networking, identity providers (Okta/Azure AD), and modern security frameworks.

* Experience with Python or Go programming languages.
