PLT Operations Engineer (m/f/d)

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* You are fully responsible for the smooth operation of electrical engineering/PLT in your area

* You ensure compliance with internal and external regulations in the field of electrical engineering/PLT

* You are responsible for planning and executing all electrical engineering/PLT maintenance and repair work

* You identify and assess deficiencies and ensure a continuous improvement process

* You plan, monitor, and responsibly execute major investments or complex operational projects in the field of electrical engineering/PLT

* You serve as the direct point of contact for process engineering operations engineers and PLT technicians/craftspeople

* You coordinate the interface with internal and external service providers

* You actively support the exchange of experiences and the further development of the site in all relevant technical topics

* You identify, assess, and promote the exchange of knowledge and "Good Practices" among the site's PLT engineers

WHAT YOU BRING

* You have completed a (university) degree in electrical engineering/automation technology or possess a comparable qualification

* You have several years of planning and operational experience in electrical engineering/PLT for process plants in the chemical industry

* You possess strong technical and economic competence, with detailed knowledge in the design and operation of control systems and safety controls

* You have extensive and solid experience in electrical explosion protection and functional safety

* Knowledge of relevant standards, norms, and legal requirements

* Familiarity with engineering/maintenance tools and software

* You demonstrate good project management skills, strong organizational and communication abilities, and a solution-oriented approach with flexibility

* Additionally, you possess the qualities of a team player and motivator, with the ability to lead a team and represent PLT interests in interdisciplinary teams

* Fluent German and good English skills in both spoken and written form complete your profile
