THE TEAM:
You'll join our Global Digital Analytics & BI Team at Birkenstock Digital GmbH - the team behind the data that powers our international webshops. We work with modern analytics stacks, deliver in sprints, and turn raw tracking data into insights that actually move the business.
YOUR SHOES TO FILL:
Analytics & Tracking
* Supporting the team to audit and improve our tracking set up across our global webshops
* Design, document, and execute test cases for new tracking implementations, ensuring high data reliability before release
* Supporting team members with monitoring webshop data across international markets - making sure our stakeholders can trust the numbers
Data Quality & Automation
* Build automated checks for missing or broken tracking parameters
* Run anomaly detection on key metrics, investigating root causes and proposing corrective actions
* Validate data and bring your own ideas for improvement
Data Warehouse & AI
* Support onboarding of new data sources into our Data Warehouse and ensure they are clean, well-structured, and usable in visualization tools
* Support preparing our digital DWH for AI usage (e.g. define KPIs, structure semantic layers)
* Support use cases for AI and automation (e.g. data enrichment, anomaly detection, or internal tools), bringing your own ideas where possible
Team & Stakeholders
* Participate in Sprint Planning and help lead Retrospectives
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate reporting needs into data solutions
* Keep documentation, tracking concepts, and measurement plans clean and current
* Support ad-hoc analyses and data visualizations
YOUR WALK OF LIFE:
* Enrolled in studies of Business Informatics, Data Science or similar
* Solid SQL skills
* Curiosity about data, AI, and prompt engineering
* Initial experience with BI/visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker) or cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery) is a plus
* Structured, detail-oriented mindset
* Demonstrated proactive attitude (e.g. projects, internships, or coursework where you took ownership beyond expectations)
* Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision but with good direction
* Understanding of ecommerce or digital product environments is a big plus
* Fluent in English
