Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

As a member of the team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of MEMS microphone technology by supporting the measurement and testing of these innovative devices.

* Shape the future: You will support in the electrical, electro-acoustical and optical measurements of MEMS microphone chips and packaged devices
* Take responsibility: You conduct optical inspection of MEMS microphone chips and packages, and you will be involved in the development of test/characterization setups
* Identify needs: You carry out performance and reliability evaluations of chip-level and packaged MEMS microphones
* Documenting results: You create reports and documentations of the respective results, including their analyses
* Performance: You will work with team of experts to expand knowledge on MEMS microphones

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

* Study field: You are currently studying Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry or similar field of study
* Experience: You have already gained practical laboratory experience (experience in acoustic setup, optical microscopy, and electrical measurement is a plus)
* Skills: You are experienced working with tools for data processing, analysis, and graphing or are eager to learn them
* Personality: You have the ability to analyze and solve problems systematically and have great affinity for technical R&D topics. Strong interest in understanding the physical phenomena from the measurement results would be a great benefit
* Way of working: You work proactively and are a good team player with excellent interpersonal skills
* Language skills: You have excellent English skills, both written and spoken. German is a plus

Important information:

* Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That's why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
* Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree programme. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
* You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
