Role Summary

We are seeking a technical Sales Data Analyst to support the Global Commercial Finance team. This role is ideal for a data professional with a strong aptitude for technology, visualization, and process automation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex datasets from multiple sources and converting them into actionable dashboards and insights using Tableau (Data Viz tool).

We are looking for a candidate who can identify opportunities to automate manual reporting tasks through AI tools, scripting, or advanced data integration techniques while understanding the business requirements and a natural analytical mind.

Key Responsibilities

Dashboard Development & Visualization
* Design, build, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards to track sales performance, channel inventory, and sell-through metrics and forecasts
* Translate business requirements into visual tools that allow stakeholders to understand complex data trends quickly.
* Optimize existing dashboards for performance and usability.
Data Integration & Management
* Connect and manage data flows from multiple sources (e.g., ERP, CRM, external market data) to ensure a unified view of the business.
* Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting tools; troubleshoot discrepancies immediately.
* Structure data specifically for efficient consumption in visualization tools.
Process Automation & AI Integration
* Identify repetitive, manual data preparation tasks and implement automated solutions.
* Leverage AI tools, Python/R scripting, or advanced Excel functions to streamline data cleaning and processing.
* Actively research and propose new tools or methods to improve the speed and accuracy of reporting.
Business Planning Support
* Support the Business Planning team with ad-hoc analysis and scenario modeling.
* Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly business review materials.

Candidate Requirements

Technical Skills
* Data Visualization: Expert-level proficiency in Tableau is required (dashboard creation, calculated fields, parameters).
* Data Handling: Strong experience with Excel (Power Query, advanced formulas). Knowledge of SQL is a strong plus.
* Automation/Coding: Familiarity with Python, R, or AI-based productivity tools for data automation is highly preferred.
* Systems: Experience working with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP data is an asset.
Experience & Education
* 2-6 years of experience in data analysis, sales operations, or business intelligence.
* Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Fluent in English written & verbal
Soft Skills
* Technical Curiosity: A genuine interest in exploring new technologies and applying them to solve business problems.
* Analytical Mindset: Ability to look beyond the numbers to understand the root causes of data trends.
* Communication: Ability to explain technical data concepts clearly to non-technical team members.
