Information about the position

We're looking for a Lead Backend (Golang) Engineer to join the Ads Team in the Vinted Marketplace domain. Our goal is to build an internal ads platform that will deliver a native ads experience at scale, integrating ads into all areas of Vinted and significantly contributing to the overall revenue. You'll collaborate with experienced colleagues to develop a robust and scalable platform and lead engineers to accelerate ads innovation.

The project is still in the early stages, we are building many things from scratch, so prepare to move fast and try out a bunch of new things. We are constantly building new features and evolving existing ones, with experimentation being key. We balance the "fail fast" principle to avoid analysis-paralysis, but we also take the time to understand the benefits of different alternatives before diving in. We're not afraid to make mistakes. We learn from them.
